The Story Behind Hawaii Plumbing
Before I started Hawaii Plumbing & Drain Cleaning Squad, I worked for other plumbing companies on Oahu. And honestly? I didn't like what I saw. Customers getting charged for work that didn't need to be done. Plumbers showing up whenever they felt like it. Nobody answering the phone on weekends. It bothered me.
So in 2018, I decided to do something about it. I started my own company with one truck, a toolbox, and a simple idea: treat people right. Show up when you say you will. Charge a fair price. Do quality work. And if you mess up, own it and make it right.
That's still how we operate today. We're based in Waianae, but we serve every town on Oahu — from Haleiwa to Hawaii Kai, Kapolei to Kailua, and everywhere in between. Whether it's a clogged drain at 2am or a water heater replacement on a Saturday, we're here.
In 2021, we became the first and only plumber on Oahu to offer an On-Time Arrival Guarantee. Here's how it works: we give you a 2-hour arrival window. If we're 30 minutes late, you get 5% off. 60 minutes late, 10% off. 90 minutes, 15% off. And if we're more than 2 hours late, you get 20% off your service, up to $300. No other plumber on the island makes that promise because no other plumber can keep it like we do.
We also believe in upfront pricing. Before we touch anything, you get a written quote. The price we quote is the price you pay. No hidden fees, no "oh, we found something else" upsells. Just honest work at honest prices.
Our team is fully licensed (CT-35055) and insured. We handle everything from simple drain cleaning to complex sewer line repairs, water heater installations, leak detection, hydro jetting, and more. Residential, commercial — doesn't matter. If it involves water and pipes, we do it.
